Did you know that over one million young people in the UK are not in education, employment or training. The Princes Trust is a lifeline to them. HFRS have delivered since 2002 6 teams a year to work with groups of young people and take them through a series of activities, workshops and community projects to help them develop. It is identified as a great career move and development for HFRS managers.
It is an 18 week secondment.
HFRS have a department which deal solely with the Princes Trust demands and when I asked at the recent managers seminar if RDS staff had been considered, I was told that no one had yet applied but that they would be considered. So, if anyone out there wants to help out in this brilliant scheme do please apply and let us know. You will need 18 weeks off your full time work but it is our opinion, thta HFRS should pay for your time.
