Getting To Rural Incidents Faster
You may have read the corporate plan and had your thoughts, so have we.......
HFRS have published in the Corporate Plan for the next three years to look at ways to get to Rural Incidents faster. it is a commendable plan, but their solution seems to be a little ambitious with separate smaller vehicles and drivers attending an incident and 'transforming' into a useful, operational solution.
maybe it will work, maybe it won't and we wholly support improving teh service to those living in or travelling through rural areas. However this solution seems to be a little ambitious and expensive especially considering the doom and gloom predicted in future economic predictions.
It is very easy to knock a good idea but we thought we would be more proactive and provide our own solution. Read it and let us know what you think.
